Calculator questions

Are these calculators free to use?

Yes. No sign-up, no download. Each one shows the design code and formula it applied so the result can be checked against the standard.

Do they match what intelliSPEC computes?

Yes. The math is ported from the platform's integrity functions: tMin and MAWP routed by equipment type, corrosion summary and remaining life, semi-quantitative RBI scoring, the half-life interval cap, and the shared ASME B31G implementation.

Can I rely on a result to set an inspection date?

Treat every result as advisory. Intervals and ratings are set by qualified inspectors and engineers under the owner's program and the governing code edition. The calculators exist so the basis is visible, not to replace that judgement.

Which units do the calculators use?

Pressure in bar, stress in MPa and lengths in mm for tMin, MAWP, corrosion rate and interval, the platform's units. B31G uses inches and psi because the standard's verified vectors are US customary.
