02What is the difference between intelliPAINT and intelliINSPECT?

intelliINSPECT walks the asset in service and visually flags coating breakdown or CUI risk. intelliPAINT owns the coating work itself: when a recoat is raised, prep, dew point, DFT, hold points, and holiday testing are captured here and bound into the databook. INSPECT decides a coating needs work; intelliPAINT records the work and proves it.

03Can connected DFT and dew-point gauges feed the record directly?

Yes, as integration. Readings from connected DFT gauges and dew-point meters stream into the coat record and validate against spec on arrival. intelliPAINT is the system of record, not the gauge; bring the instruments you already run.

04Does intelliPAINT support coating durability planning?

Yes. Capture the corrosivity category and target durability band per ISO 12944 at application, so the first maintenance is planned against the system. The coating-barrier record also feeds CUI assessment under API 583.

05How does intelliPAINT handle dew-point monitoring?

Every Daily Coating Inspection Log records RH, surface temperature, dew point, and the ST-DP differential. The Environmental Risk dashboard tracks monthly average ST-DP against the ISO 8502-4 threshold (≥3°C / 5°F) and surfaces projects where conditions were marginal during application.

06Can hold points block the next coat if readings are out of spec?

Yes. Hold points are workflow gates in the daily log. The next coat transition is blocked until the sign-off is captured in-platform. Any override requires a documented justification that is retained in the audit trail.

07Does intelliPAINT generate project databooks automatically?

The Automated Databook Generator compiles daily logs, test reports, batch records, and compliance certificates into a formatted databook as work progresses, not assembled after the fact at warranty time.

08What holiday testing standard does intelliPAINT reference?

The Holiday Detection & Pinhole Analysis from Photos calculator evaluates results per AMPP/NACE SP0188, which governs holiday test method selection (low or high voltage) based on coating thickness.
